I read Jaycee Dugard’s book earlier this week.
I watched her interview on Diane Sawyer tonight.
It is a sad story. I feel so upset that the system has failed her. There were so many missed opportunities to get her home earlier.
She has a neat charity that I thought Recreational Therapists would be interested in knowing about.
Her charity helps to provide alternatives to traditional therapy. These are things many Recreational Therapists use: Animal Therapy, Equine Therapy, and Food Therapy.
