JOB TITLE: PARKS & RECREATION COORDINATOR
Parks & Recreation Department
JOB STATUS: Full Time, Exempt
SALARY RATE: $38,000 - $56,000 per year
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates the planning and implementation of all special needs and therapeutic recreation programs
Assists with special events
Performs routine administrative and accounting duties
Surveys and tracks gymnasium classes; provides quarterly reports
Assists with summer recreation programs
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in related field ; preferably two years experience in working with special needs groups and related recreational programming; possession of a CTRS certification preferred. Should have Florida CDL Class C driver’s license and acceptable driving record, or be able to obtain Class C license within two months from date of employment.
Work schedule: Tuesday – Saturday; may include evenings and holidays
