Be the first known Rec. Therapist in a Public Charter School like SEED in Washington, D.C.
They're looking for a life skills counselor.
This job seems interesting and I think they’d hire Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), especially if you have experience working in a residential setting for children and adolescents.
Their life skills counselor is responsible for many things, such as:
Teaching social, self-help, life-long learning, and basic life skills through the HALL curriculum.
Facilitates student leisure and recreation activities. Scheduling on and off campus activities.
Teaches health lifestyles Attends to moral and character development of students.
This sounds like a job that I'd enjoy, but I'm not leaving wild and wonderful West Virginia.

Here are some of my additional thoughts:
I think that a person with background training in Therapeutic Recreation (TR) is quite fortunate in the job market.
Although Recreational Therapy is a treatment oriented in clinical settings such as: skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and psychiatric. It also has a focus on building on person’s strengths and has a wellness model that is quite the opposite of the medical model.
People with background training in TR often find employment in a wide-range of positions across the illness to wellness spectrum.
I think this job would be on the wellness side of the spectrum. What do you think?
