My position as a Recreational Therapist for children requires me to provide social skills training. I use of mix of recreational therapies to help children to develop these skills.
I also teach a violence prevention curriculum for children who have demonstrated verbal or physical aggression.
I teach self-regulation/ calming skills, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
