The Recreational Therapist assesses, plans, implements and evaluates treatment of psychiatric patients in inpatient, partial hospital, and outpatient settings. The Recreational Therapist works within a multi-disciplinary treatment team to assure patients receive education and practice behaviors that support appropriate use of leisure time.
Qualifications
· Must possess a current certification as a Recreational Therapist
· Must have a current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
· Graduate from an accredited College or University with a BS/BA degree or higher
· Ability to plan, coordinate, develop and/or build new programs
· Computer skills at an intermediate level or higher
