Acupressure - Yoga and Tai-chi

I read an interesting article at CNN today. Lisa Shives, M.D (blogger for CNN) reported that "15% of Americans suffer from chronic insomnia." Shives reported that cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) haven't shown much help for the treatment for insomnia. But there is good news for us Rec. Therapists because she reports that the following three Complementary and alternative medicines (CAM) have shown to be effective at helping with insomnia:

  • acupressure,

  • yoga and

  • tai chi.
