The title of this article reminds me of something I recall reading in an article about (of maybe an interview with Ed Templeton). He is one of my favorite skateboarders. I was an avid skateboarder during my teens until my early 20s.
I recall Templeton saying something along the lines that a person doesn't need drugs to get high. A person should get a high from doing sports like skateboarding. I'm sure I've misquoted him on this. It was about '95 to '99 when I had read that article or listened to an interview with him (maybe a411 skate video).
