Psychologist argue children should be bored some during the summer

Many children activities are planned for them.
Some psychologist recommends that children should have some bored time so they can learn to entertain themselves.
I’d argue this time should be provided as “free learning time.”

Focus on what makes you miserable - to feel happier

David Marchese had written an interesting article  about Randy J. Paterson’s treatment approach. titled: to get happier, focus on what  makes you miserable.
I forget the psychology term for this (prescribing the symptom).
I do think there is some merit to this approach.
I really want to read Paterson’s book, How to be miserable: 40 strategies you already use.

How people judge you

Amy Cuddy is a Harvard Psychologist and the author of a new book, Presense.
I've not read her book yet, but I want to.

Cuddy argues that there are two criteria that people judge you on when they first meet you.
