Judith E. Voelkl Memorial Recreational Therapy Workshop


Join us for the 1st Annual Judith E. Voelkl Memorial Recreational Therapy Workshop at Clemson University on March 24, 2014. This will be an exciting all-day event with many informative workshops held by some of Recreational Therapy’s top scholars. Continuing education credit for all Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists is pending approval from the American Therapeutic Recreation Association.

Educators, professionals, and students are welcome and registration is as follows:

Pricing:
$45 for professionals
$35 for presenters
$25 for students

To receive CEU credit, you must purchase the CEU Credit Option at an additional charge of $10, which will be sent to ATRA. Up to 6 ½ contact hours or .65 CEUs will be available.

Registration will close March 11th.

The workshop program is attached to this e-mail.

Registration includes lunch on the day of the workshop. If you have any special accommodations such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-intolerance, food allergies, etc., please indicate so in the dietary needs portion of your registration.

Parking is at Clemson University's Martin Inn. Transportation will be provided to and from the event via shuttle from the Martin Inn to the Hendrix Student Center. Accommodations for the event are recommended to be made at Clemson University’s
James F. Martin Inn. There is a group rate of $99 if you mention you are attending the workshop.




Additionally, Clemson University’s Recreational Therapy Club will have ¼ zip pullovers and polo’s embroidered with the Clemson Recreational Therapy logo available for preorder. You will be able to pick your order up at the event.
