5 Careers

5 Careers you might not have heard of was posted at CNN Living today.

I clicked on the link because I thought “Recreational Therapy” might be on the list.

It wasn’t, but “patient advocate” was and we all do that.

A lot of them had to do with social science and social networking. I think it could benefit a RT to be aware of these things.

The 5 jobs included:

• Social media manager (I think I do this for my own social media: twitter, myspace, facebook, youtube, blogspot, tumblr, kickstarter, and others.)
• Cybrarian – librarian for a cyber library.
• Risk management specialists (We have one at our hospital)
• Patient advocates (All people who provide services for patient should be one of these).
• Futurists - predict the future.

I feel like I’d be competent at any of these jobs above. What about you?
