benefits for hand-writing

Perri Klass, a Medical Doctor had written a blog entry for “Well,” a blog from the New York Times about handwriting.  He argues that there is research that connects handwriting to achievement.

Myself, I’ve always thought good handwriting served as a halo-effect, which teachers assume the child must be smarter from the good handwriting.
