The Littleton Independent posted an article on Jan. 19, 2016
titled: Craig Hospital offers patients and their families housing, assistance
and suppoRT.
The main photo shows a pool game with the caption “Recreational
Therapy session”: at Craig Rehabilitation Hospital. Lindsey (shown in the

Danny’s thoughts: We, Recreational Therapists often don’t
just treat the individual. Recreational therapists can be very family-focused
as well. Many times, the family is involved in all parts of the RT process
(which is especially true based on my experiences providing services with
children). The family is involved in the assessment process, treatment
planning, family-based interventions, evaluations, discharge planning/ transitioning.
