Afternoon-
The
North Carolina Recreational Therapy Association is looking
for Recreational Therapist's who would like to present at the annual
conference this year! I know everyone has a lot of stressors and you may feel
like “this is another thing to add to my to-do list,” but BEFORE YOU DELETE
THIS EMAIL; think about the last time you went to a conference. What did
you get out of it? If you got something out of it then you probably felt like
the conference was worth attending. If you didn’t get anything out of it,
why do you think you think that was the case? Is information redundant from
conference to conference, was the presenter not prepared/didn’t know material
well, was the information not relevant or interesting, etc?
We
want your help to COAST INTO ACTION at this year’s NCRTA conference!
Think
about how much you have to offer as a Recreational Therapist at UNC and
consider presenting at this year’s conference. The conference will
be held OCTOBER 5 & 6, 2015 in Wilmington, NC. The call for papers deadline has been extended to JUNE 1, 2015,
and is quickly approaching-so don’t wait to submit your
papers. See below for more information.
