I think, we, RTs can apply  existentialism in our practice.

Definition from google: a philosophical theory or approach that emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent determining their own development through acts of the will.

 We, RTs can help individuals to become self-aware of their own hopes, wishes, and dreams. We can help them to have self-discovery (who am I?) and meaning in life (what is my purpose?) these can be very easily done through leisure and recreation activities.

Stories like this photographer remind me of a person who is living in harmony with their own mission and meaning in life.
