Rec. Therapists in all settings should be aware of a bill:

H.R. 4755: Access to Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy Act of 2014.

 

Specifically, the bill adds: "Including Recreational Therapy among the therapy modalities that constitute an intensive rehabilitation therapy program in a rehabilitation facility."

 

Currently, we need all of the U.S. Representatives who are on the House Ways and Means Committee to sign this bill.

 

Please go to the following link to the House Ways and Means Committee. If you have a state representative on the committee, can you please work to get them to sign on to HR 4755: Access to Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy Act of 2014.
