Severe Obesity in kids is on the rise.

How do you think RTs can help address the rise of severe obesity in kids? Can we RTs start providing prevention to help lower obesity and even help lower health care costs, which are rising?

I regret to say that towns close to where I live (Charleston and Huntington), West Virginia are both ranked high in obesity on a national rating scale. They are often in the top ten towns if not the top two. Read the article here about Huntington, West Virginia: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/10751039/Huntington-West-Virginia-named-fattest-US-town-as-obesity-rate-rises.html

I read an article that severe obesity in kids is on the rise.
