Here are the sessions I’ll be attending at the 2013 ATRA

First thing first, a fresh cup of delicious coffee from somewhere
local. (At least I hope it will be good).
·
7:45 a.m. General Session # 2: Bridges to
competency through public policy with U.S. Representative G.T. Thompson. Did
you know G.T. was a former president of ATRA?
·
9:00 a.m. ATRA Treatment Network Session:
Pediatrics
·
10:30 a.m. Family Fun: incorporating families
into recreation therapy programming for pediatrics
·
12:30 NCTRC certificants’ meeting

Motivational Interview and accepting/ commitment processes.
·
3:30 p.m. Asperger’s syndrome: the role of
recreational therapy
·
5:00 p.m.: Student Quiz Bowl: I think I’m going
to attend that. I think it will be interesting.
7:00 p.m. I'll stop by the Pennsylvania -- all conference social that is sponsored by the PATRA. I probably won't stay long at it.
