POSITION AVAILABLE: Early Childhood Inclusion Specialist

The Early Childhood Inclusion Specialist provides public education, training, technical assistance, and advocacy activities to increase the capacity of children’s services providers to include children with disabilities.

 

This position serves as CCDH’s All Children Together (ACT) project’s expert in early childhood development and education, and has responsibility for project activities that include Early Learning Centers and children birth to five years old.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

·         Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Exceptional Education, or other related field

·         Minimum of 3 years experience working with young children with disabilities, preferably in an inclusive setting

·         Experience teaching, training, modeling, mentoring

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and (strongly preferred), fluency in a second language (Spanish or Creole)

 

Starting Salary: $38,000 - $43,000
