As a Recreational Therapist, I've used pet therapy and animal assisted-therapy to help people over the years.
Today, I watched a woman on the news who had lost nearly everything in Oklahoma and in the middle of the t.v. interview, her dog shows up. I can see the power of having a close friend, her dog.
