CNN editor Lisa Copen posted a list of things NOT to say to
a person with a chronic illness. I have posted the link below for you to read.

adolescents at a psychiatric hospital. I once asked new patients upon meeting
them, how are you today? That was not a good question because I realized that
patients being admitted to a psychiatric hospital were usually not in the best
spirits. Now, I ask different questions such as: has the staff been treating you
well since you’ve been here?
