We, recreational therapists provide services for a
wide-range of people with various needs. I thought RTs who follow my blog might
be interested in this story. I beleive that we, RTs, work in this field because we have empathy for people and we want to see people reach their highest potential in life.
Here is the story:
A young girl has rare condition that is going to cause her
to go blind.
She is passionate about several things, including: dancing
and music.
She has a teen idol, the pop music star Justin Beiber.
She wants to see him before she loses her sight.
She may have to go to a special school for children who are
blind and may have to quit dancing.
I feel strong emotions for this little girl and wish the
best for her.
She has several positive, motivational, and encouraging
statements, which she gives during the end of this video.
I hope this girl gets a chance to meet her teen idol. More
importantly, I hope for a cure for her vision and wish this girl the best.
