Praise for Rec. Therapy: from my mother.

Laugh aloud.

I posted a comment on my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/recreationtherapy about Feb. being national Rec. Therapy month! I asked people to send an email of praise to a Rec. Therapist. I have over 1,000 friends on FB. Most of them are Rec. Therapists who follow my email newsletter and (this blog).

Laugh aloud again. because I received one note of praise on my FB page today.

My good, loving mother had written:




Danny, I think you are the best Recreational Therapist. You have such compassion for those you work with. You are dedicated to helping others. You have great work ethics. You keep up with what is new in your field. You strive to improv the the image of rec. therapy, working to make it a more prestigious job, which it should be after so much hard work it took to get a degree in it. Danny, you touch lives and make them better!


Thanks Mom. I appreciate the support.
