Would you read a book if you knew a Recreational Therapist had written it?
Well, I’m a recreational therapist and I’ve written a children’s book.
I work with children who have mental and behavioral health needs.

Many of these children are in treatment to decrease verbal and physical aggression.
I provide a mix of treatment interventions including: social skills training, empathy training, relaxation skills training, character building, teambuilding, physical fitness (as a team approach and non-competitive), expressive arts and other recreational therapists.

My new book is on Character Education for ALL children (ages 7 to 12).
It features pictures of cute animals to get the kids attention.
