Dear Friend,
I received the following email Heather Proter (Temple University).
Dear Educators, Researchers & Clinicians,
I’m currently looking for contributors to write a 4-8 page section on a specific diagnosis or technique for the 2nd edition of the “Recreational Therapy Handbook of Practice: ICF-Based Diagnosis and Treatment.” Writing will begin the end of August, with the ambitious goal of first draft by mid October. Below is a list of available sections. If interested, send me an e-mail indicating the section/s you would like to write, along with a copy of your CV and writing sample by Friday, August 9th (co-authors for sections welcome). Once received, further information will be provided (e.g., outline). Contributors will receive a free book copy once published. If there’s a diagnosis or technique of interest not listed (whether you are interested in writing it or not), please let me know. I would greatly appreciate the forward of this solicitation to other recreational therapy educators/researchers/clinicians who may not be on this mailing list.
(*NOTE: Opportunities to review the ICF Body Function, Activity & Participation, and Environmental Factor codes will be available at a later date…please let me know if you are interested in this as well)
Thank you for considering this project :)
